"雨のあと"と"夜ふけの空"

じゃ、ひさしぶりだな。ちょっと遅れると知ってる。だから、今度は詩が二つをポストする。金子みすゞさまの詩だ。

雨のあと

日かげの葉っぱは
なきむしだ、
ほろりほろりと
ないている。

日向の葉っぱは
わらい出す、
なみだのあとが
もうかわく。

日かげの葉っぱの
なきむしに、
だれか、ハンカチ
かしてやれ。

翻訳:

After the Rain

The leaves in the shade
are crybabies;
moved to tears,
they are weeping.

The leaves in the sunshine
burst into laughter;
after their tears,
they are already drying out.

Someone, please lend
a handkerchief
to the crybaby leaves
in the shade.

夜ふけの空

人と、草木のねむるとき、
空はほんとにいそがしい。

星のひかりはひとつずつ、
きれいなゆめを背に負い、
みんなのお床へとどけよと、
ちらちらお空をとび交うし、
つゆひめさまは明けぬまに、
町の露台のお花にも、
お山のおくの下葉にも、
のこらずつゆをくばろうと、
銀のお馬車をいそがせる。

花と、子どものねむるとき、
空はほんとにいそがしい。

The Sky Late At Night

When people and plants are asleep,
the sky is truly busy.

The lights of the stars,
each bearing a beautiful dream,
deliver them to people's beds,
flickering, they flutter about the sky;
when the dew princess distributes dew
that will not remain on the open marsh,
on the flowers on the balconies of the town,
on the lower leaves in the inner part of the mountain,
she makes the silver carriage hurry.

When flowers and children are sleeping,
the sky is truly busy.
